Item Description:

This is a rare piece of late 19th century, circa 1880s, French Rococo antique lady chair constructed from solid mahogany which has been carved to perfection.
It stands on two front cabriole scrolled legs with carved knees. The seat front and back are beautifully hand crafted with Rococo Foliage. A highly desired piece of antique furniture.
The chair has been refurbished recently (about 2 years back by the owner). Wood worm treated, re-webbing and re-upholstered in pretty burgundy velvet. It is also reinforced with extra metal plates underneath the seat for stronger support, out of sight. We zoomed and showed all parts of the chair including the repairs. A stunning piece of antique furniture.

Size: H106 x W61 x D74 cm, seat height 46cm approx.
